It's Garbage Day!

49.8 degrees clear except for a few puffy clouds.

From WKTV: "We're nearing the end of this delightful stretch of weather that's been with us since late last week. After a quiet, clear night tonight, we're looking at another beautiful start to the day Tuesday. Sunshine should dominate through a few high clouds, boosting temperatures into the 70s by early afternoon. With less high cloudiness, we could see highs in the mid or upper 70s tomorrow afternoon, but for now, we do think some clouds will hang with us. Still, low to mid 70s is reasonable. A weak cold front will pass through late in the afternoon, bringing a period of clouds and a slight chance of a shower.
Clouds will decrease through Wednesday morning, with only an isolated shower possible off Lake Ontario. Temperatures won't exactly be cold Wednesday, but we will miss the 70s. Highs should be in the mid 60s. A weak wave and another cold front will begin to cross the region Wednesday night and Thursday, bringing plenty of clouds and a few showers.

I received the following E-mail, yesterday, from John L. Savage, Proud Parent and Retired Head Coach Waterville Pop Warner!
He wrote:
I wanted to pass along that our Waterville Junior Midget Pop Warner team is one game away from an un-defeated season and Tri-Valley league title. For the core group of players this would be their second League Title in three years – in 2006 our Junior Pee Wees went undefeated and won the D3 Junior Pee Wee title at 9 and 0.

Yesterday’s game was a key victory as our team beat the Ilion Angels 28-0. Ilion was the first place team in our rival Division 3A. The boys finish up their regular season at home this Sunday at 2pm at Brothertown Stadium against Canastota. It would be great to have the community come out and support the team.

The team’s Head Coach is Greg Jones.

Following is a summary of their season thus far:

Home Away

Clinton 6 Waterville 25

Mohawk 0 Waterville 30

Waterville 24 Westmoreland 0

Waterville 24 Mt. Markham 0

Sauquoit 0 Waterville 29

Ilion 0 Waterville 28
