Friday

*******************************

THAT WAS YESTERDAY!

Today it's clear and 36.7 degrees.

From WKTV: Good morning Central New York! Grab the light jacket or sweater heading out to work or school because it is a bit cool out there this morning. Temperatures are starting out in the 30s and 40s across the region. With lots of sunshine this morning, we'll quickly rise into the 60s by lunch hour. The rest of Friday looks like spectacular day with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. The weather begins to change on Friday night and Saturday, with a storm system that is going to bring showers and thunderstorms. If we see some clearing Saturday morning into the afternoon, temperatures will reach the low 70s and some thunderstorms that develop, could be strong. Skies should clear a bit later Saturday night and Sunday. It will be much cooler on Sunday, with highs in the mid 60s.

This fantastic weather has jump-started all sorts of blooms. These are the blossoms of a Norway Maple. If you get this close to them, you'll be overwhelmed by their terrifically sweet aroma!

White Trillium are blooming in the woods. If you're driving towards Clinton, be sure and take the Dugway from Route 12B - the hillside is covered with these beauties.

This Star Magnolia (Magnolia stellata) is at the Behas' on Route 20.

Morgan's outdoor showroom is at it's most colorful!

I saw Tom a few days ago and asked if he had missed a single day of outdoor display during the past Winter: "No!"

Thanks, Honna!

Several people have asked why I said, yesterday, that I was "disappoined" with Robert Coppen's Unadilla Ramblings: it was because it wasn't a blog by Honna Bowen! I'm sure that if she ever decides to do one, it will be super!

and Thank You, Mark. That gave me goosebumps!

We all wish you the Best of Luck
in house-hunting and at your new job!

Work continues on the Townhouses on Madison Street.

People wonder, "Isn't the building awfully close to the road?"
