You could tell from Tower Street that something special was going on! The front lawn was filling up fast, when I got there.
Look! A taxi!
A waitress waiting to take an order .........
........ and someone winning at Blackjack!
A special sort of currency was in use .........
which, when cashed in, gained players some candy!
Elvis was there ..........
lots of the partyers wore fancy sun visors .....
...... and Uncle Sam himself gave a smiling salute!
Enjoying themselves completely were the senior Mrs. Harding ........
...... and the Hudsons.
Kirk hollered to me, "She's coming home next week!"
