It's Garbage Day! 33.6 degrees; cloudy

This is why I'm late, this morning!

IT'S SPRING VACATION

Remember last week's photos of kids out
on bikes and trikes and scooters and skateboards?

PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY!

******

There are plenty of fun activities on the calendar at the

Waterville Public Library.

(Please click to enlarge.)

Thanks to Kristin Strohmeyer for this picture of the Boy Scouts and adults who accompanied them as they departed for "Seabase" at 5:45 on Saturday morning.

She added, " A Big 'Thanks' to John and Joyce Sheldrick for driving the bus!"

Lois Newsom sent me this great photo called

"Class of '52"

(See how many of these people YOU recognize,
then I'll give you the i.d.'s tomorrow!)

The Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers are back!

They're sending Morse-like messages back an forth by
tapping on everything and anything metal: roofs, signs, and garbage cans included!

(Not on my new car, you don't!)

The WKTV forecast: "After a chilly finish to the weekend, temperatures will fall below freezing overnight under partly cloudy skies, with patchy frost to start out Monday morning. Temperatures will be just as chilly on Monday, with highs only in the mid 40s. The good news is that we do expect a little more sun and a little less wind. Conditions will improve pretty dramatically by Wednesday, with highs well into the 60s and even 70 by the end of the week."

Yea!!
