Thursday

It's Garbage Day!

62.8 degrees.

misty / foggy

WKTV predicts that there's a "chance of storms will stay with us into Thursday...hit or miss...as an upper level system lags behind the cold front that will sweep through Thursday morning. By Thursday evening, this storm should be out of here, and we'll see improving conditions for Friday.
Major forecast headaches are expected as we go into the weekend. Saturday now looks like a stormy day. A storm system and upper level system will drag across the area, bringing what we think will be fairly widespread showers and a chance for a few thunderstorms. Then, the big changes take place. Rather than heat and humidity surging toward us, we're seeing signs that a large upper level storm system is going to park itself over the Northeast into Monday, bringing us cooler than usual conditions, along with scattered thunderstorms."

John Peterson sent me this good news, yesterday:

"Hi Y'all; Dano got home from Iraq yesterday as planned in good spirits and
health. Had a good flight and is home resting and playing with Kids, dogs and
his new J D mower. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishing. We are
greatly relieved.
John & Elaine. "
